Rajesh Jha's Departure from Microsoft
Rajesh Jha, executive vice president of Microsoft's experiences and devices group, is retiring after more than 35 years at the software giant. His tenure included significant contributions to shifting the Microsoft Office suite to the cloud and recent oversight of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Windows, Office, and additional products.
After 35+ years at Microsoft, I am moving into retirement. I will transition out on July 1st and then stay in an advisory role.
Succession and Transition Details
Jha is leaving at the end of June, but Microsoft is not promoting anyone as a direct replacement for his role. Instead, the company is elevating four of his direct reports to executive positions. Full details available at The Verge.
