Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion Platform
Nvidia is offering its DRIVE Hyperion platform to automakers seeking to implement a variety of autonomous features. This platform serves as the foundational technology for advanced driver assistance and full autonomy.
Executive Test Drives
Approximately every six months, Nvidia's head of automotive, Xinzhou Wu, invites CEO Jensen Huang for a ride in a vehicle equipped with the company's hands-free autonomous driving system. These demonstrations occur only when Wu possesses strong confidence in the system's driving abilities.
Recent Mercedes CLA Demonstration
In a recent outing, Wu and Huang drove from Woodside, California, to downtown San Francisco in a Mercedes CLA sedan fitted with MB.Drive Assist Pro. This hands-free driver-assist system, partially designed by Nvidia, mirrors capabilities found in Tesla's Full Self-Driving. Despite heavy traffic, the atmosphere remained relaxed. Image: Nvidia.
